Consistency is queen when it comes to moving the needle for our health and wellness. Often times we get so overwhelmed with making MASSIVE changes to our routines that end up being unsustainable. Instead of making the 1% changes we can be consistent with, that lead to massive change over time.
It takes PATIENCE. It also takes TRUST.
Trust that the results will come, and that they aren't always visible. They are feeling more energetic, more focused, or feeling the positive boost of keeping the promise you made to yourself.
Here are the 3 non negotiables that I start each day with. They're simple, they're easy, and they WORK.
#1 taking a good quality probiotic.
Gut health matters, if you haven't yet and are interested, start your journey with understanding how extremely important it is for SO. MANY. systems and functions in your body.
#2 Taking high quality supplements.
It's easy to get overwhelmed when it comes to our health, so many different opinions, books, podcasts, experts, supplements, it's easier to just forget about all of it sometimes. Our body can only thrive as much as what we provide for it, and often times our diet is not enough. Ideally we'd all eat a well-rounded diet that included all of the nutrients we need, but let's be honest this is hard AF. Do some research, look at your diet and think about where the biggest deficiencies are, and start there. Can you incorporate a scoop of greens into your AM routine if you don't eat any veggies? Something as simple as this can go a loooong way for our health. Don't eat enough protein? Grab a good protein powder to incorporate into your day!
#3 adding collagen to my am brew.
Another simple way to support my gut health, skin health, and help support joint and bone health! More perks from this simple but powerful addition to my daily routine is promoting healthier hair and lean muscle growth. Add a scoop into your coffee, tea, or matcha and let it work its magic!
last but not least... (yes i know i said 3 but here's a bonus one)
Reading for 20-30 minutes every morning, before I check my phone, email, turn on the tv, or consume anything else. The last half hour before we go to bed and the first half hour in the morning are SO important. What we choose to start our day with, is setting the tone for how the rest will go. Choose something that will feed your mind and soul, whether its music, a podcast, a book, or moving your body. Anything that you know will create the start to your day to set you up for success.
DON'T RESONATE WITH ANY OF THE ABOVE? DON'T SWEAT IT. THIS IS WHAT WORKS FOR ME, MAYBE IT'S GOT YOU THINKING OF WHAT SMALL DAILY CHANGES YOU COULD START TO SUPPORT YOURSELF AND YOUR HEALTH.
